"With form there is freedom" - the statement is a paradox but it highlights one of the reasons why projects succeed or fail. Lack of a process in creating a new site causes countless iterations, confusion and in some cases no final creation. The client has greater freedom by being able to trust us that we will stick to a process that produces a quality product for them. Both the client and designers know what to expect of each other. A project's process can be tailored to meet specific needs while knowing the bounds to stay within for success.
We have developed a design process over the years that works well and when followed, produces a clean, quality product. It is described below: 1) Questionnaire The questionnaire that we provide is designed to provoke thought in an organization about what is wanted, needed in a new site. It is designed to spark the "What if" discussions for what could be. It also gives us information to know what areas need further definition before we begin or what areas we can grow with you as you continue to succeed.
2) Client meetings We meet either by teleconference or in person with our clients so that we know and can present our design ideas, the design specification that is produced. There are 3 meetings, the 1st is made after the questionnaire is completed, the 2nd after we have developed initial design specifications for the site, the 3rd and final meeting reviews and approves the design specification.
3) Initial Proof/Design/Development These are the 3 times where we come up with the design concepts, the design specifications and then do the devlopement of the site and its applications.
4) Test During the design stage, a test plan is made. During the test phase, the test plan is performed, showing to our clients that the site meets what was intended from the design specification.
5) Deliver The client receives administrative access to the defined areas of the site. The training of the client's personel is done.
6) Maintain Web-Strategi will be available to help and maintain a site for generations. We will be there to provide you with the service that you learned to expect and act on your behalf proving the trust you gained with us during the site project.
